Hmmm, what's wrong with P2 hood? I don't remember any dents.

Looks like Casey got busy with the frame jig today.

One of the hood hinge bolts was frozen and had to be cut.

Aahhh, that would do it. Got a good one here but the Subaru may look like the flying nun if we strapped it on top.

You could always install the hood once you got it home...

What's the plans for paint?

Turns out Tad has a hood for us. Phoebe will be painted at Casey's shop. Well Tucson at least. Details have not been worked out yet. Yes, there will be some purple. I hope the tranny we bring will get her home. Hers is very sick and slipping terrible. It probably got a virus from one of Ralph's junkers in his back yard.

CJ - maybe next time huh?

We hooked up with Casey after we got in yesterday and looked over the Phoebe situation pretty good. After being in the great white north for the last 6 months, this desert heat is going to be interesting. We really appreciate everyone who can make it to the WOT.

I'm sure there are parts we need that we don't even know about. It is a Jeep project after all. No worries - bring what you got Bob.

The body being taken off the frame:

Trying to get the tailgate open..

The advantage of having lots of folks to help...

Here is a shot of the 'new' body just before going on the original frame...

I dunno... It was a whole lotta work in a brief time but Phoebe Too was indeed resurrected by a tribe of barbarians. Yes, torches and other implements of melted and cut steel have been engaged as well.

Starting her 401:

Driving out of the shop:
