Scored an AMC 360 Howell TBI from a yard today!

I've been battling a bad MC2150 carb on the waggy lately and recently decided (after reading pretty much every TBI thread on here) to go with a DIY junkyard TBI from an 88-91 Chevy truck.

Today was a nice day, so we went down to the junkyard with the intention of getting everything we needed from a Chevy. Problem was that someone plucked the injectors out of EVERY TBI there

So as we were leaving we decided to check and see if there were any FSJ's. Well low and behold, there was a '90 waggy that had a Howell TBI!!!! so an hour and $150 later, we had this

SWEET!!!! It looks like a later version, as it has the VSS.

Anything else good on the FSJ? Care to share where you found it?

Yeah, it does have VSS but no spark control.

It's at the Denver Upull and Pay. http://www.upullandpay.com/locations...r/default.aspx

It has a new water pump and alternator. Looks to be a newish radiator and decent factory shroud. New fan pulley. Axles and drivetrain are all there. Interior is shot.

Spark control is easy to add if you want. But then you'll be playing with it all the time! LOL!
