Cliffhanger rear - pix of dual jerry can setup?

Just what it says. I'm looking for any photos of the dual jerry can setup (with swing away and hi-lift mount). On a rig preferred but anything would be helpful as I'm having trouble visualizing where everything would fit. I haven't been able to find any here or at BJ's forum.

    Thanks!

I have seen one that slides into the square recepticle for your trailer ball hitch. Just can't remember who makes the darn thing.

Thanks but I'm talking about the BJ's Cliffhanger rear bumper. It is an option to get it with 2 jerry can mounts integrated and I'm wondering what that looks like and how it works.

Hey Justin ... I found a couple of pics that might help you out. The first pic might be a double can, but the second pic is for sure a single can set up. IIRC the dual can mount is slightly larger and turned 90*; the cans end up sitting side by side facing front to back and not sideways. Hope these help you out ~~~

Thanks for the pix Tigger. I have seen the first one before. I read over on the BJ's forums that the Hi-Lift is vertical with the dual can setup and I'd really like to see that and how the cans are oriented.

Hopefully someone who has it can show a pic or the BJ's guys have a couple that just aren't on their website.

I'm curious as to why the Hi-Lift has to be vertical for a dual can set up. Are you enamored with the way it looks or just something that will function well? Just curious and wanting to see the pics from BJs now too.

I don't really care how it looks but I want to know what is sticking out where and how much. I don't want to sacrifice too much exit angle but my 36" spare will stick out a fair bit so the jerry cans should be within that extension depending on how it's built. I have a tall Hi-Lift so if it does have to be vertical (I don't care if it is or not, but I think it is when you get dual jerry cans) then I want to get an idea of how far up it will be. I may want to get a lower Hi-Lift or put it somewhere else and not have it on the bumper.

Is there something about this set up with dual cans on the left and the hi-lift horizontal that doesnt work for you? Do you have measurements on this type of bumper/carrier with the single jerry can? It shouldn't be too difficult to figure out how far out the shelf would be with the dual jerry cans on it.

If you read the BJ's forum there is reference to the hi-lift being vertical when dual jerry cans are used, not horizontal as you are showing. So I'm not even sure the photo you are showing is accurate for the dual setup. That's what I'm trying to confirm.

                    Thanks!

I am curious about this as well. I have the same bumper on layaway with dual cans and hi-lift. I would rather have it going horizontal and if that means having a single can holder then I would do that.

I'm not sure who's bumper that is in the pic I posted. I was trying to use it as an example as to how the hi-lift can be horizontal and then you could rotate the jerry can rack 90* and make it wider to fit dual cans. Are you looking to fab one up or buy one outright? If you want to know about the BJs bumper/carrier you could always PM "TPI CHEROKEE" and ask him about it as he is @ BJs OffRoad.
