    1991 Leaf Spring Recommendations

I'm looking at replacing all the springs on my 1991. The fronts are S-shaped and my caster angle is messed up, and the rear sags a little more than I'd like.

I managed to get replacement 7 leaf front springs from General Spring - I'm in the UK so had to get them sent over in the back of a Comanche that a friend of mine was importing, otherwise there was no way I could afford the shipping.

I now also need to get some rear springs, but I'm limited to those available over here in the UK/EU.

I've found some Crown rear springs for a good price, but I don't know if they're any good.

Has anybody used Crown rear springs. If so, how do they ride, how have they lasted, etc.?
Also, does anybody know if they'd be likely to match the ride height of the General Spring front springs?

You could ask a local suspension shop what it cost to make some leaf spring sets for you!
Can't imagine that such kind of shop doesn't exist anymore in the UK!

I had two new front leaf spring sets made for my 73' j4000 two years ago at a shop that does all kinds of suspension work and also building trailers.

I supplied one of the old spring sets to them for measurements and they made two perfect new sets in a week.
Did cost me around 500-euros , but no hassle with shipping from the states and extra customs.

That's a great idea, but I did try once before and wasn't particularly impressed. I gave them all the info I could find but they just seemed like they weren't interested in the job!

I'll keep it up my sleeve in case necessary, but I'd rather just buy new ones if possible.
