Just a heads-up - fan/shroud possibility

Took a chance on measurements and this fits our radiators with 1/4" clearance. Almost like it was made for them. Not going into mechanical vs. electric discussions, just a FYI for those who want a way to pull a lot of air and not willing to pay $175 for the pathetic factory shroud.

Brackets need to be cut off (took less than one min for all 4 with a cut-off wheel) and four holes drilled for an install using the typical fan mount-through-radiator kits (https://www.amazon.com/Upgr8-Universal-Through-Radiator-Plastic/dp/B07L542CJH/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=fan+mount+kit&qid=161 4305096&s=automotive&sr=1-3). Otherwise, this is an almost 100% coverage on FSJ rads (honestly, way more coverage for shroud than the factory).

This fan/shroud setup: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

PS. The fans are cheap Chinese, but same size as any other of the better aftermarket 12" fans out there (Mishimoto, SPAL, Flex-A-Lite, etc.)

Just throwing it out there...
I upgraded my 94 Caprice to use stock dual electric fan setup and NO shroud is used.
Pushed that car HARD on many occassions and never had any issues.
I would think that all that blocked area could drastically reduce airflow under some conditions?

Prob w/these vehicles is tight/hot engine compartment and reversion if no shroud.
