No power, can't get out of it's way after sitting 5 years

HI, it's been awhile. Anyway, about five years ago, I pulled the engine out of the Wagon to replace bearings. I capped the transmission cooling hoses and vacuum lines. Long story short I did it when I started a new job and the jeep sat for years as I was busy with work and kids. I finally got the engine in and it runs fine when in park.

When I put it in gear it barely wants to move. I give it gas and it acts like it is bogging down. I do have fuel injection and it is throwing no errors. Tranny fluid is full. I haven't checked the QT fluid yet. it does roll fine as I have pushed it in neutral

Any ideas what to check? Thanks.

      Hope its not this...

Clogged TBI injectors? If it sat that long the gas left in the injectors probably turned to varnish or gel. You may be getting a fraction of the gas it needs.

The right way to put an engine away for a long time that you hope to start someday is to put some stabil in the gas and run 'er until she runs out of gas. Or better yet, remove carb or TBI together and empty of gas, dry it out and seal it in a baggy.

I did run stabil thru it before I took the engine out. One of the injectors is brand new as I broke a post on one of them.

If it were the brakes seized up, would I not be able to push it in neutral?

I should add that it will creep along if I barely accelerate on the street, but any sort of incline it takes for ever to get up it

Plugged exhaust? Mouse/rodent house, or hooligan stuffed some stuff in the tailpipes?

Hook up a vacuum gauge, might tell you something?
