A/C seems to be holding pressure (air). Fingers crossed! Lots of work went into getting the right parts, fittings, and hoses.

Made a "new" y-pipe from the old one and a u-j bent piece I bought on ebay. I was hoping to reuse the whole y-pipe with cats from the silverado doner, but I couldn't do it. I'm going to try a 3" cat in front of the muffler. I'd love a better idea if anyone has one.

Picked up the seats from the Todd's Upholstery in Huntingdon TN today. I don't think I could have done any better for $800.

Seats look great, I just wish i found them more comfortable.. looks like they matched the interior quite well.
One day I will wake up and realize that my jeep is complete...one day, I just know it.

Bought some all thread and rod ends to make a transmission linkage. It connects to the original stuff.

The jeep driveshaft has a slip joint and the 241c transfer case uses a slip yoke. I slid a piece of radiator hose over the drive shaft splines to keep it somewhat stationary. This will work OK for a temporary setup. I was going to tap the end of the output shaft but realized I'd have to install the u-joint under the vehicle, so I came up with this at the last minute.

She's finally back down on her feet! I was struggling with the engine until I realized the O2 sensor pigtails were swapped (left to right). Finish bleeding the brakes tomorrow (all new except steel lines and prop valve) and hopefully put around the driveway some!

Here's where we stand - Both Wag's have been lifted, have new tires and are running. LS swap in #2 has been driven about 30 miles and turned out as good as I'd hoped. Smooth running and gobs of power. It's heading to the body shop and should be back in 6 weeks or so.

I am leaning toward fixing the rusted quarters and headliner in #1 and selling it.

Finally got a little more work done on#1. New headliner. Total cost about $50 and a few hours. I just stripped and spray painted the console for an easy temporary fix.

Any tips on how to make the visors pretty without too much effort would be appreciated.

You can rewrap them pretty easily. The material just tucks in to the gap between the two halves.
You ever wonder what medieval cook looked at the guts of a pig and thought, "I bet if you washed out that poop tube, you could stuff it with meat and eat it."
