    Wiper switch question

I've got a 1988 Grand Wagoneer, and for some reason, a previous owner replaced the steering column with one from an older model. Thus, the wiper switch, which should be on the turn signal stalk, is now a two-way toggle on the dash. I have fast, slow, and off (no intermittent) and they do not automatically "park" when you turn them off. Is it possible to install a dash switch with intermittent capability from an older model? Any thoughts on how to wire that?

    Thanks!

I've read that an xj column and wiper module are bolt in mods. If you can find them in a junkyard near you it might resolve your issue. I'd verify that info first as it's second hand internet knowledge.

I haven't done that or anything like that but depending on how deep your pockets are, you can probably find a steering column that would be correct for pretty cheap. Steering columns are not that expensive on here and there are plenty of dude up there in the pacific northwest with parts rigs.
