    J10 info help

So a couple years ago I was given a j10 but was talking to a buddy about the transmission and transfer case. Was there ever an option in a 79 for the j10 for a t18 mated to a Dana 20

    Thanks Nick

Yes. T18A (wide ratio, granny first 4 speed) with the D20. Pretty common standard factory set up. The th400AT/QT was an optional set up. FSJ's never ran the close ratio T18.

IMHO, that's the best factory set up behind an AMC V8.

Thanks, Rang; that's a ringing endorsement for my set-up that I need.
