1977 Jeep J10 Spare Tire Carrier

Hello I own a 1977 Jeep J10 and need a picture of the stock spare tire setup for this J10. I think I have most of the parts but can not find the mounting locations under the truck. I have seen a few different setups (one centered under the truck and one that looked to be at an angle)

I need to know what was correct for this truck. I would like to get the spare tire I have out of the bed and back under the truck, to gain a little bed space in the back.

The parts I have are the tire rack, that on one end includes a bolt with spring then a plate and then another bolt with spring. I believe this end mount to the frame somewhere. I can't seem to find the loop that this tire rack end hooks to. The diagonal mounting option that I saw may not have used a welded frame loop to attach the rack but I really don't have a clue.

I don't have the other bolt with plastic nut that secures the other end up to let the tire down.

It's a bracket that connects diagonally the two frame rails

Anyone have a picture of the hinge Side
And that attachment point. Do you have the springs and bolts on that side or it that for a different jeep setup?

Sorry I'm new to the forum. I found a picture of the bracket. That explains the problem I have the wrong bracket.

I tried to upload a picture but it is not working.

I still need a picture of the hinge side attachment point.

There's no hinge. It's just a bolt with a spring.

Not right... Actually there's no spring originally. ....even if I saw it on a couple of trucks.

I'm in the opposite boat...let me know if you want to sell your bed mount. I would send you my factory mount for free but I have no idea where it is currently.

                Couple of questions:

How does it hinge down to get the tire out of the rack?

What is the extra bolt for near the plastic nut? It looks like it just goes through the frame horizontally and holds nothing.

Pyro: I would love a correct factory setup and I could pay shipping if you could find it. You don't want my bed spare tire setup because it's really sad, two bungie straps.

This is a picture of a truck at a junkyard a while ago. It had this long bolt on this side. .....I have no idea why I can't get the stupid picture straight, sorry....

As far as your question for the extra bolt that goes horizontally, in that area there's the bracket that supports the tail pipe. But it has 2 bolts. I don't recall seeing a third hole in that area (but it doesn't mean it's not there...)
