    serpentine belts kits for amc

    I'm getting ready to do some motor work the 401 getting a Cam . I'm getting a parts list together I have heard rumors of someone out there with a serpentine belts kit. Dose anyone know who makes or is going to make a kit maybe BJ's ??????

      but why? you loose everything when serpentine belt goes... with regular v-belts you only loose one accessory at a time.

        Yup, but a serpentine belt grabs WAY better than any v-belt ever will. Even 2 v-belts. Plus with a serpentine belt you only have to carry one size spare. Personally, I'd be carrying at least one spare for every v-belt on the engine.

          Yea I have a 140amp alternator and when its fully loaded even two gatorback V-belts cant even run it

            I too am interested in the status of the serpentine belt kit. What is the status?

              Anyone ever hear of a serpentine belt conversion Kit for the 360? would like to convert my V-belt system if possible


              be sure and subscribe, heck maybe post, I know Tony's a working on it.
