Air Cleaner Decals / Body Stickers
I always like the detail work seen on restorations, and have been looking for sources on engine bay and body decals / stickers for the later model FSJs.
My air cleaner was pretty beat and the 1 remaining decal was unreadable, so figured I'd repaint the assembly, then replace the decals.
After looking at pics of unrestored and original GWs I think I've ID'd the correct air cleaner decals.
The long yellow air filter decal is the 3242044 air filter label, and I've seen the large "36" on the bar code decal, which is apparently EF8953003936.
This ebay seller has decals that look identical to others I've seen on unrestored GW engine bay pics, so I just bought his last one (for now):

The ebay seller's other items for sale -- interesting stuff:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/zak7868/m.h...p2047675.l2562
A 9 year old thread here that gives some details on the ebay seller, Kaz Yokomizo and his email address, atlas-fsj@miracle.ocn.ne.jp:
https://www.ifsja.org/forums/vb/showthread.php?t=147491
Another place to get the air filter decal, but not the correct bar code decal:

Anyone else have good sources of FSJ decals / labels / stickers?

I do find it very odd he's based in Japan.
I lived there 8 years and was always hard pressed to find any American vehicles there, let alone someone that has such rare oddities like air cleaner decals.
My American vehicle in Japan story:
I'll never forget driving home from Yokosuka to our place in Negishi early one AM after a 12hr graveyard shift in that late 90s.
I'm in my wife's 1995 Nissan March (look that one up -- 54 massive horsepower off a 1.0 liter 4-banger) driving sleepily home in the slow lane in rain.
I check my sideview mirror and think I'm dreaming when I see a 1970 Grabber Orange Mach 1 come up slowly and pass me. I remember honking and giving/getting a thumbs up from the Japanese driver.
Damnedest thing I ever saw over there. That was and still is one of my dream cars (428 SCJ with Shaker, please). Never seen a Grabber Orange Mustang anywhere in the US, even at multiple Ford shows out west, but just happened to see one over there in the oddest way.

great story.....
I asked the guy in Japan a few years ago
whats up ?,... how did you acquire all those NOS FSJ PARTS?
wondered if he had them in the US them took them when he moved and has been selling them,....?
no biggie, but he never answered that question.
I have had real good luck with all I got from him.
John shneider said he was in Italy, on a street corner
and a general lee pulled up and parked right in front of him.
folks love vehicles.

I'm pretty handy with Inkscape and StickerMule will make batches as small as 10 for < $20. I've made a few stickers for myself and tend to give the rest away.
There never was a sticker like this but I wanted one in case someone else has to drive my Jeep someday. https://photos.app.goo.gl/kVDjKgKGeHGXGog68
This one was on my dash and I couldn't find much reference to it on the internets so I made some. https://photos.app.goo.gl/q9NNQGzoXbPJ5rBv9
If you have a picture of a sticker that is unobtanium I can gin some up.

My air cleaner decal is from SOLSAKS and I am quite proud of it.

New air cleaner decals just arrived today, so only about 2 weeks from ordering on ebay. Look pretty good so will put on the air cleaner soon and put a pic in my build thread for posterity.

That Japanese guy is great, I'd love to know how he has that stuff too.
I bought an original tailgate glass protector for the top of the tailgate for my '91 from him, almost impossible to find in good condition!
He even threw in a couple of NOS decals for me, with a nice handwritten note.
