    Windshield trim installation

Is there a trick for getting the stainless steel windshield trim to fit inside the rubber weatherseal. I have tried lubing it with soap but I can't get the upper corner to fit.

I have something of the same problem with a 1950 Ford. In that case, the shop manual says that the trim has to be installed on the rubber before the windshield is put back in.

Was wondering if the same applies here.

    Matthew,

Haven't tried it yet - but there is a write-up in the tech library section. Good luck.
