    2wd Cherokee?

    I know some or most of you may say its sacrilege, but tossing the idea of making a 2wd lowered 2 door Cherokee convertible roadster. For the front suspension, late 70s early 80s Comaro/Firebird front sub-frame? Need to find a 2 door Cherokee NT with a bad roof so I don't feel too bad cutting the top off. Roof can't be too bad cause i was thinking about making it the cover for the rear cargo area.

    or find a cheep Wag or 4 door Cherokee and shorten it.... a bunch

      Some early wagoneers were 2WD, so why not..

        Is this it? this is photoshopped , Audi TT interior and Ford GT rims also the door is lengthen.

        1990 Grand Wagoneer.. black with sand interior..
        Razor grille, Hella H4 headlights, Piaa driving, LED spider taillights, tinted windows.
        Full Corinthian leather front and rear seats, custom full length center console with cup holders. 100 sf of Rattle Trap on floor.
        Edelbrock intake and 2132 cam, Howell TBI, Ford Distributor Cap, TFI Ignition Coil, Desmogged

          yep, thats the inspiration. I photo shopped a for door, kep the door same but shortened the body. Jeep wheels with hubcaps but slammed the Jeep.

            The whole idea is just WRONG !! JMO, though ! It's your money and vehicle, you are allowed to do with them what you will in our great country.

              Rather than posting random updates every now and again I figured I'd just start a build thread for the new Cherokee project. Basically it's a 1983 Cherokee WT body on a shortened 1971 C10 frame with a real healthy AMC 401. Here's how I picture it as a finished project, although I change my mind on the paint scheme almost daily


              I want to build a similar style Jeep. Here's my vision: If Jeep entered NASCAR in the mid 70's, what would that look like? Wide track Cherokee, 2WD, lowered, fat meats, nasty loud exhaust, lumpy cam, etc.

                rang-a-stang, yes that is one hot Cherokee. Now my idea is that, but no roof. Actually make some of the roof a hard tondocover thingy.
