threaded rod for water pump/timing cover bolt
Can I use threaded rod to replace the long bolt in the water pump that holds the power steering/air pump? Upon removal I twisted the bolt and is somewhat deformed.

Where I am at certain Ace Hardware stores have the best selection of bolts and nuts. That is where I have been going for all my needs. I just replaced the water pump and thermostate housing and changed all the bolts.

As a last resort - McMaster-Carr
http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-threaded-rods/=r18v74
When I order from them on Sunday, it arrives on Monday, sometimes Tuesday. Shipping is reasonable too.
We use them a lot here at the lab, when we need hardware and such stuff.
