    FSJ plastic model kit??

My friend swears up and down that he saw a plastic model kit of my jeep at the local walmart. He says it looked exactly like my cherokee, was orange (like my cherokee) and even says the front of the box has the indan head on it. I went to the walmart and looked and looked and looked, but found nothing. I then went to a local model store, nothing there and the guy has never saw or heard of the kit either. I have been searching the internet and diffrent model companys looking for this kit and found nothing. I have kept an eye on ebay and found nothing. I told him I have found nothing and I think he is crazy or was dreaming.

So is my friend crazy or has anyone else seen one of these model kits?
IF there really is one I would really like to have one. But I have found nothing to prove that there is one.

Ive never seen a FSJ Cherokee model, doesnt mean there isnt one though. All Ive ever seen on eBay is 3 different versions of a J-truck (Pink Posion, and 2 variants of a Honcho)

I think there was a Cheif in the XJ line, so it could have been a model of one of those.

Yep, know about the J-10's (gonna get one of them one day) But he swears it was just like my cherokee. Only thing I have been able to find is a early 70's commando. I emailed him a link to it because it is orange and thought that is what he saw. But he said that wasnt it. He said it had the indan head badge on the box. I still think he is crazy. We went to another model store today and diffrent walmart and still nothing...lol

It's been 5 years since I've seen the J-10 Honcho version at a hobby shop. There was a list at the store of all the kits available and It only listed the J-10 for the FSJ's. They had the other models like the CJ, XJ, and Grand Chero. I do remember coming across a Commando on Ebay awhile ago.

Yeah, it had to be either the scout or the commando. They're the only two out there I've seen lately. Both kits are orange/red and look similar to the cherokee. I guarantee if they did release one it would be of a woodgrain wagoneer same as the die-cast one. Put me in line for either one.

I'll see if I can find one of the scouts on ebay and send him a link.
He saw this kit like, last week. So if it was real, it would have been a new model. Walmart doesnt carry old stuff. We went to a third walmart today and found nothing. I told him he was crazy agan, he says "I know what I saw man, I'm not crazy" He knows a few people at the walmart he "saw" this model at. He says he is gonna ask the toy department manager about it when she gets back from vacation. I think he just had a dream he was at walmart and saw the kit. Because he is very firm on the fact that the front of the box had the indian head on it, like the emblem on my cherokee.

Well I found a couple of the scouts on ebay and emailed them to him. He said they kinda looked like it, but still says thats not it. He says the one he saw had "cherokee" on the box and had the indian head on it.
I still think he dreamed it....
