Hey guys new guy saying hi,
I'm in Layton Utah and this is my second Full size jeep, and my third jeep I have owned, my first jeep which I'm still driving and my DD for now is a 92' Cherokee which has been great to me (230,000 miles & still ticking) but wanting something that is full size kinda like my first vehicle I have ever owned which was a 84' Ramcharger (gave it away to my brother), and a 78 cherokee (which I had to salvage because it was a mess, now I regret it because I found out later it had a running 401) I have also owned a 83' Dodge power wagon which was T-boned a minivan (I know, oh the horror).
Anyways found my self a 83' Cherokee Laredo Widetrac, for $800
but however found out its gonna be definately a restore project as I grinded away bondo and and found some of the sheetmetal rotted away even found some plates that have been riveted on then bondoed over, the passnegr door is dinged in, the front 2 fenders are pretty hashed too, but already found a driver side fender in excellant condition in a salvage yard and a bonus I found some fiberglass flares that someone just gave me, he said they're supposed to replace the metal ones in the rear the problem is, only like 5% is cancered out will be feasable to replace the whole flares or just repair it?
Any ways on to the pictures:
Yes the dreaded saggy headliner
Passenger side rear quarter panel (back)
Driver side rear quarterpanel (notice the riveted plate).
Driver side front quarterpanel.
