Arrow Steering column - manual / floor shift

I'm looking for a steering column from a manual shift that will fit a 1979 J truck. I'm located in the Springfield/Eugene area of Oregon, right off the I-5. Pics would be great!

Not certain about the 79, but the column from an XJ was an easy swap in my 88 GW. Even the automatics were floor shift, but there is a lock cable thing that you have to override. They are a little shorter than the stock GW column, but not much and actually helps with ergonomics in my opinion. I did swap the bracket that mounts at the firewall. I think I had to grind one bracket off the XJ column. May be worth a look at your local JY with a measuring tape.

I made a mixed steering column from the original 73' and a xj column to have tilted column and working steering lock.

You could use any GM or Mopar steering column , but sometimes have to put together two different sliding pieces from the steering shaft to connect to the original joints.
