You should have steel lines running up the driver's frame rail, and short lengths of rubber to connect each section. No need to replace the steel lines unless they are damaged. I always replace fuel lines whenever I have them off. Get the Gates line from RockAuto or elsewhere - the cheap fuel line from the budget parts stores won't last. I usually buy it by the 10' length and keep it on hand. The fill hoses - up to you. I would decide based on condition.
In '76, you may have nylon vapor lines. I would keep those unless they are brittle and replace the rubber connecting sections as above.
