Facelift for '88

So trying to get my '88 roadworthy again after ~3yr slumber in driveway.
Sold the 60's valance and the '70's valance I had to replace it was in really poor shape.
Lost of surface rust and pitted pretty badly.
The grille anodized coating was cloudy, and accent paint was faded.
Just couldn't bring myself to install it as-is, so...

Grille, headlight bezels, buckets, etc., all got a coat of paint as well. Looks much better IMHO


Wasn't sure I'd like it all blacked out, but I do.

I did the same to my Razor grille on my 75 J-10. I know a lot of folks on here detest that but I like it. I am a firm believer in making your rig, "YOUR" rig. Everyone has different tastes. I think your grille looks great !!!

was just sharing pics cuz I like it.
still need get 3pc bumper and license plate back on, think it's ready to drive again then.

Do you need bumper parts? I have 4 chrome bumper ends and at least one set of brackets...

funny you should ask, I could use an unmolested pair(s) of center bracketry.
mine were cut many years ago, ran 'em anyway for years, but bumper was always flimsy because of it.
forgot on 2 occasions to grab 'em from boneyard jeeps. shoot me a PM
