Looks nice. Cool there's a plater reasonably close by. Quality platers out here are buffalo hunters. Ya musta found an old school plate shop. Only the inexperienced tell ya alum can't be plated. Granted different prep base coating rules and associated costs but if it conducts electricity it can be plated.
In a year or two and your bumpers didn't get scabies or the heartbreak of psoriasis you might want to post a follow up with the shops contact info. Quality platers in the US are getting hard to find.

I've got a set of bumpers I need to have rechromed...I'm in Texas and have been searching to have this done. Any chance you can let me know who and where you had yours done?

        Thanks....

Sweet looking GW, but why the AMC logo on the grille?
AMC was long gone by 1990.

I just happen to like the AMC logo... Just peels off.

You ever wonder what medieval cook looked at the guts of a pig and thought, "I bet if you washed out that poop tube, you could stuff it with meat and eat it."

Can you give us some sort of ballpark on what this costs? I would like to get mine done, but have no idea on what this would cost.
