    VINTAGE AIR A/C ADVICE

Has anyone put a vintage air into a j-10 ?

some of the units they offer

look just like the factory under dash unit that came on FSJ's.

if someone here has done it,

I would like to know the model you used,

and how you rate installation and performance.

Most people use the Magnum IV. Im in the middle of it, so I can't rate performance, but so far, the installation has been fine, it fits well under the dash. I ended up modifying the ABS glove box for more clearance. Brackets that come with it work great on the factory firewall. I modified the front bracket to bolt to the bottom of the front of the dash. I have not done any of the vent tubing plumbing.

I did the magnum IV with some custom vents in my Cherokee. It cools and heats very well.

I have not yet finished my Waggy, but did buy the Magnum 4 as well.
Over on the FSJNETWORK sonoraed did a really nice install. He is also a dealer for Vintage Air, and does custom lines and control for them.

The Bronco vent plenums that go V/A makes fit well under the dash, almost like they where made for it.

Mine is not done yet, but there are pics on here somewhere.
