Not sure if this was in response to my comments about the roof, but we are in agreement...

My statement about "..the roof is not there to complete the box" was referring to convertibles not having a solid roof and therefore not having the rigidity and requiring additional frame support.

You can also "strap" a frame, much like waht was done on CJ6 frames at the factory. Adds strength, yet allows some frame flex.
