    Grille Fasteners?

I bought these things and they do not fit at all. :/

    Anyone have a replacement idea?

From the pic those look like the fasteners that fit the two bottom holes in the grill, not the holes around the inside on the grill frame. The ones that fit in the inside the frame hole are a split fastener that has a plunger you push in to spread the "wings" to hold it in. They are available at most parts places in the HELP section and I'm sure at BJ's and places like TGW.

Correction- it just needed a water pump!

That is what is on my 1988 and 86. You'll have to look at your grille.

I just bought some screws for my pignose at my local hardware store. Get stainless #6, 1.5". I fit them in many of the holes on my grill and it is solid now.

I ended up trimming the crap out of the ones from TGW, I don't understand why they sell a product that fits that poorly.
