Just rebuilt my motorcraft 4300 I got free with my free 4bbl 70's Jeep/AMC intake. Did I say I got this for free.
Everything has gone fine except the spacer. Any suggestions?
The one I got, for free, is 1/2 plastic on the bottom and 1/2 fiber on the carb side. I think this spacer is cool as it fits on the manifold with only an 8/32 wide and deep edge around the bore holes and around the studs. Thus only these edges and posts contact the block, creating a nice air gap.
Anyone seen one like this?
The primary bores are 1 20/32" and the secondarys are 1 24/32. Not much difference but they are bigger.
Strange half circle protrusion on the front edge (appears to have no function) from hole bored half way through the spacer.
Any suggestions for aquiring a replacement or close to it?
