brake booster question

I am trying to replace my Brake booster because it is failing, but I am unable to find a booster locally. I did get one overnighted from Autozone, but the mounting bolts were clocked wrong. On my 77 Cherokee, the mounting bolts are rotated about 45* to the right, compared to any other booster I have ever mounted. Are they all like this? Is there a booster from another make/model that I can install? I'd rather buy local to avoid the hassle of shipping a core booster back to a Vendor, plus avoiding the cost of shipping.

Thx
Curly

Your old brake booster likely has a spacer on the back.

I never took mine off, but I vaguely remember seeing a picture of it.

You take the old one off, and swap the spacer onto the new one...

Here is a photo I stole from ebay. See how the studs are rotated with the spacer...?

Gulrok...thanks for that! I do have a spacer. I'll try the autozone.com one again. I didn't remove the old booster so I hadn't seen the spacer.
