Background:
I bought the old girl in mid-November of 2019 as a garage project, mostly to keep myself busy over the last winter, and as it turned out, during the ridiculous China virus lockdown scare.
I found it on FB Marketplace, listed by an older woman and her son thru her deceased husband's account. She wanted $2k, but based on pics and videos I told her I'd drive out from Boise with a trailer to her place in Vancouver, WA to inspect it and go from there.
What I saw in person was much worse than I thought I'd find, as it had a hard life, didn't run, and had a lot of interior floor pan rust, non-functioning electrics, and a lot of missing interior bits. We agreed on $1,200, poured gas down the carb, and gunned it onto the trailer before it died.
Apparently it started life in Berkeley, CA, then moved to Arkansas at some point, where I figure it was used as a hunting rig or something.
I'm still plugging away between work, health issues, and just plain old parts scrounging. Anyway, I'll post occasional pics as I continue piecing things together. Enjoy!
