I looked at it a few times as I walked by, and shook my head at the growing number of oil stains in my driveway that my HOA is complaining about.

Oh well, at least it's at home these days and not in storage.

got my 07 4l60e and just looked at it in the driveway. I pondered the total cost of what is going to be done to it. 10k I figure. And the wife says "we will spend less and get what we want". "What, spend 10k on a tundra and not be happy?" I think she just wants me under a vehicle on the weekends.

Pulled the rear end out a few weeks ago and took it over to get rebuilt. New LS carrier and complete bearing kit. Put the rejuvenated unit back in. Rebuilt the rear brakes with new shoes, wheel cylinders, hardware and hose. Torqued everything down and test drove her without anything else breaking.

            My only real question is....
How come every time I work on my Waggy, it never adds to the value, but always costs more than it's worth?

Fixed some wiring, put in a fuel gauge, got acdelco oil filter.

I put on a open element 360 degree airfilter as I felt stock was rather restrictive (my little 4 banger has a bigger snorkel!!) man.... Fuel milage went in the dump, used twice as much gas it seemed. Driving with a light foot and getting passed by VWs. I'm going back to stock!!!

I stood in front of mine and noted how much snow had melted and wondered where the green patina had come from on the paint..

Well it took way longer than it should but... A motor swap. Now to fix that exhaust leak and drive it till it needs something else swapped.

                                Wait...which one?

Do I have to count the 2-3 that aren't finished?

Do I count the 2 that run but I don't drive?

Do I Count all 5 of them, but individually or cumulatively?

Or do I just count the 1 I have had the longest and still drive everywhere?
