There's an engine shop in Spokane that has a good reputation for 360s...a bit more than the hour from you, but they do ship

https://www.sandjengines.com/search/...Grand_Wagoneer

Hope that helps.

According to car-part.com
Budget truck wrecking in auburn (1-253-833-9441) has an '86

and
All West Coast auto wrecking in Shelton (1-800-720-4599)has a '78

and
Simpsons Used Parts in Port Angeles (1-800-246-7278) has an '86

There is also this 82 Wagoneer being auctioned in Graham next week
https://www.copart.com/lot/47136329

It says it has a 4.2l six but in the picture it's obviously a V8. They don't say it runs so it would be taking a chance.

Next week will be the second time it goes through the auction. It went through the auction today but the $250 it brought didn't meet the sellers reserve.

Thanks for the info. I am looking for one I can tinker with, not necessarily a rebuilt one. But I will keep this link.

I have never heard of either of these websites. Thanks for the tips!
Definitely not a 4.2l in that '82. I wonder what the reserve is? I hope the seller doesn't believe that particular GW is worth $10,000....

You might check with Olympic 4x4 in Snohomish. They sometimes have a FSJ in their parts donor yard.

I've seen many Wagoneers sell at Copart because it's a donated vehicle I would guess somewhere around $1,000, possibly as low as $600 or as high as $1200, I wouldn't think any higher especially given that it comes with an affidavit in lieu of title. Of course that's just a guess, you never know really. affidavit in lieu of title is actually a good thing because they have some very odd rules for bidding on cars depending on what kind of title it has, what kind of membersgip you have and what kind of license you have or don't have. I have the most basic membership and am allowed to bid up to $1,000 on anything except things with a clear title. If I want to bid on a clear title I have to go through a broker or prove I have a dealers license. It lets me bid on the wagoneer because of that affidavit but the affidavit is the paperwork that would get me a clear title if I did buy it.

If you are thinking about that one it would be a good idea to plan in advance and talk to them about it, maybe go look at it. You never know what's actually wrong with it. Cold be nothing at all but could be something big. I donated a Mustang parts car once that they listed as runs and drives, which was technically true but even though it did run and drive it did it with no oil because a rod was sticking out the bottom of the oil pan.

Oh and from the vehicle report they let me look at it has been registered in Wa at least since '97. It looks like the last time it was registered was 09/13/2010 in LILLIWAUP, WA but a duplicate title was issued on 10/29/2015. There is some sort of accident record on 08/14/2003 "COLLISION WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE(Case #:1257404)" but other than a record of corrected title there is nothing else.
