    Hey guys,
I got more of the dyno run files in my email today. I'll post them up later today, so you can see the progressional HP/Torque increases as the carb was tuned between the dyno pulls. Stay tuned ...
    Sincerely,

Very nice build, should be fun to drive. Is that going in your Blue GW?

Thanks Evan. No, this one is Rick's stroker, mine is the 304 stroker which is going into the blue GW.

          Dyno Pull Graphs

          Hey guys,
Here are the dyno pull files, showing the progression as the pulls were done and carburetor jetting was changed. You can read the pull notes in the lower LH corner of each file, for what was changed for each pull.

The last pull (#6) was with the www.envalve.com installed, which I brought along and Rick ran a pull with it for me (Thanks, Rick!)

Pull #4 had the most HP @ 405.7. Pull #6 had the most torque at 427-428 ft/lb. torque.

Yeah, I want one too, LOL! Rick can build you one ... he's only about 1.5 max hours away from you.

                Great post

I guess according to the pictures, that the scorpion roller rockers are for pedestal mounts, and so that they don't need guideplates and heads machining ?

Yes, that is correct, they are for bridged rocker heads and do not require machining ... you just have to get the correct length pushrods for your application. On my 304 stroker, we used 8.200" SBC pushrods ... on Rick's 360 stroker, he ended up using a Ford 351W pushrod at 8.212" long. The differences can be attributed to differences in head gasket thickness, how much the heads and/or block were milled, and the base circle diameter on the camshaft.
                  Sincerely,
                  Greg Taylor

                      Eric,
You can call Rick at 734-735-6060 which is his cell #. He's also on the forum, his user name is SC/397 ... if you send him a PM, please incude your email address therein, as that's an easier way for him to follow up with you (phone is best). Thanks.

                          Rick,
That's awesome ... glad to see you got it together for Drag Day. How does that compare to what your 390 S/C Rambler ran last year?
                          Sincerely,

The SC/Rambler is a different animal.. 390 4 speed 4:10. Before I swapped cams it would run a 13.00 @ 106 with drag radials. I couldn't pull a hole shot at over 2500 rpm with out igniting the tires. It would have done better with slicks. I don't know what it will run now with the bigger cam. The Rot Rogue has a automatic (999) with a 2500 stall converter and 3.73 gears. A much easier beast to drive than the SC/Rambler. Given that though, I am really happy with et AND the speed of the Rot Rogue!

OK, the Rot Rogue has been up and down the street on street tires which is rediculas. And, it has made it to the strip a couple of times. On the street... it is fun as hell! Get it rolling at about 2500 rpm or like 30 mph and nail it and it will break the tires loose at will. Just peg it and shift in to second and it doesn't stop spinning tires. By that time, you need to pay attention to the steering and keeping it out of the deep ditches around here. The interesting thing about the engine is that it seems so quiet and non menacing. Very well behaved. Not a lot of experience at the strip so far but it runs good for a street engine. So far I have ran a best 12.86 for the half a dozen runs that I have on it. No cooling problems whatsoever so far. Very happy with the results so far.
