Holy moly. Insane might be accurate. That shop is spending cash like a blast furnace fed by money. Nice burnout out on the road. And jumping the RR tracks. Hope it is his.

Seems odd to me that someone would put that much effort and spend that kind of money on a wagoneer and not put a psi trac rear end in it but I watched over and over and at around 5:30 into the video it certainly looks to be a one wheel burnout.

If that was the first burn out in the parking lot after leaving the garage, yes it was a one wheeled wonder. Only later out on the road did it look like a little sideways drift. When he was cowering thinking he found a cop. But yes I agree. Why stop at the engine with all that.
Maybe they weren't done with the build yet. I could not believe the body off wrenching on the 2020 Gladiator in the opposite bay. I guess money gives you choices. Wow...
I used to have 2 Buick 455 engines. I was going to put one of them into my 69 X model. One was an early one with 370 HP and 510 TQ stock. All the while getting maybe 6 miles to the gallon. I decided an LS motor would provide tire smoke and maybe 16 miles to the gallon. Then I grew up a little bit. Only a little bit... I still think about it. And I am getting ready to blow the dust off it and move it to the shop.

A Hellcat in a GW would be a fun ride but is gonna start breaking if

they don't upgrade the rest of the drive train. Same with the 6.4 at 500 hp or the 5.7 with nearly 400 hp like I run. Whoever buys it better expect to spend mo money.
1974 Cherokee S. It's driving but needs more work. As usual!

I can't help but be impressed by the Hellcat engine. The kid in me really wants to do that. A while back there were two low mileage wrecked hellcats at my local Copart and I tried to talk my wife into letting me spend the $24,000 to buy one to put in her Mercedes but she wouldn't go for it, so I tried to talk her into letting me get it for my truck but still no go.

I just feel if you are building something that is really just to do burnouts and act stupid at least make it do two wheel burnouts. As impressive as it is I think given my preferences I'd go LS over Hellcat though.

I am with you. A hellcrate is a 707hp motor with a factory warranty!! It is also daily driver reliable. That is amazing. I think a hellcrate is much less than $24k but you do not get the trans you would get with a wrecked hellcat.

Unleash the beast with 'The Hellcrate,' a powerful and reliable crate engine that transforms your Jeep into a high-performance machine, available at Collins Bros Jeep.

And to think it’s only 50% more money than Cummins R2.8.

Yes figure engine alone is $1700 plus power steering, plus alternator, plus wiring harness, plus transmission etc and it's easy to reach that $24,000 figure.

That's way too much money for a Hellcrate. You can find them way cheaper if you know where to look.

I talked to a Mopar parts man just last week who said he had 2 complete hellcats in his stock at 24-26k. But the real kicker was the 29-30k 1000 hp one he had ordered for a customer; so serious was Mopar that they insisted on confirming with the customer the order was real. It is.
