    Check this out

As the owner of a '72 Commando also, I thought this would be cool!

It's based on a modern Wrangler, but as the name suggests, the bodywork is a tribute to the Jeepster Commando, a tiny SUV that Jeep built from 1966 to 1973

They're right, never see the light of day. Feds mandate headrests nowdays. Not a bad looking rig though. Kind of like the resto blue and white Cherk from a few years ago.

No, it probably won't ever see daylight, not unless 100,000 of us put in our preorders The seats and all that kind of stuff are easy to over come. I could never really afford one anyway.

I don't pay attention to those one-off "Concept" vehicles. Like they'll ever make it.

They'll just keep building more H2, and H3 looking Jeeps.

Yes, that's kinda cool. I like the J-truck lettering on the tailgate. I forget if the Commando used that too. Overall it's quite nice, but would be shocked if it went further than this one-off.

I'd like to see them do a comparable update on the Eagle wagon. That could fit in with modern crossovers easily. The Audi Allroad caught my eye a few years back when I was next to one at a stop light. I looked over and thought....now, if they were making Eagle wagons today...it'd be pretty close to that.

Let's hope they never try to revive the Gremlin or Pacer (though they came close to the latter with the Gen1 Libby...the hoods were almost interchangeable).
