Today is a good FSJ day in SoCal

Today on my way to work
    1) ALL my gauges worked for the first time since I bought my Jeep in 2016
    2) I filled my tank for the first time since I bought my Jeep
    3) Because the 101 is closed just north of me, there was NNNnnoooo traffic on the way to work
    4) Last night I fixed my emergency brake and the evap system on my Jeep so it is mechanically ready for my drive to Irwindale on Friday for Roadkill Zip Tie Drags kickoff.
    5) It's sunny and warm=windows down driving

-10 here. I doubt if the windows will go down even if I wanted them to.

This morning it was 60 and sunny here.

I drive through strawberry fields on my way to work each day and it smelled like strawberries for most of my drive, this morning. There are very few things I like about living in Southern California, but this is one of them; I love my commute. Doing it in a FSJ, windows down, 401 purring through headers and a Borla is just awesome.

dang rang a stang,... we are jealous....

in central NC we got 3 to 4 inches of snow last night

it is nice to see all the fileds with a blanket of snow

but my FSJ is too prissy, so i am avoiding the salted roads.

but,...i can just hear that exhaust you described......nice

glad you got a lot of repairs done too.

I have a lot of good days. Everything but my fuel gauge worked when I bought the truck and a new sending unit from BJ's fixed that so my gauges always work. My drive to and from work is along Puget Sound so there is always an amazing view. It never gets hot here but also seldom gets too cold so even when I can't drive with the windows down because it rains from Oct to April here and there is seldom much traffic on my drive to and from work. I love the sound of my headers as well.I just love driving my truck.

too salty out for me to want to drive mine... If I drove it during the winter, id probably lose something else off my frame!...

I miss it though. Can't wait to put it back on the road. I started it for the first time this year-today. Damn thing sounded so good. Open exhaust through a thrush glasspack, is what I got. I haven't done anything with it since I got influenza after new year's. I found out today that I fixed my original radio's amplifier (SWEET) and also found an issue that causes an intermittent charging problem I have. Ill probably change those wires tomorrow. May start prepping for paint tomorrow as well.

I hear you. Total bummer. Maybe next year. I'm hoping they do the same general set up next year and hopefully my rig will go the whole way.

Yep! I was the only FSJ there. My "wagoneer" got quite a bit of attention. Of the 8 or so people that asked me questions, only 1 called it a Cherokee; the rest asked if that was my wagoneer.

Did you see pictures already or something (I only ask because I do have a yellow WT and you asked specifically about it)? I just went for the meet/greet there this morning and to see all the cars. That was the first time I have taken my Cherokee on a road trip longer than 15 miles. I NEED to fix my cruise control. And exhaust leaks.

I also almost got rammed by a driverless Draguar!
