Just picked up my first FSJ

Hey guys I've been on the forum not too long. I've been looking for one for the past 2 years and finally found one. My buddy showed me this site and I was hooked. I was waiting to find one before I started to post. All of you guys gave me plenty of info and knowledge which helped in my decision. Well here she is.....

1983 Sherwood Green Metallic Jeep Wagoneer Limited: 91,xxx on the Odometer, very clean with very lil rot so far as I can tell. Runs only when I pour gas straight into the carb. Hopefully she just needs a fuel pump for now then down the rd I'll do an electric pump.

overall the orig paint is really good. I i can fix the small rot for now you wouldnt notice. Every owner kept it in the garage and took care of her. I got a pretty good deal on her compared to what some people wanted on craigslist and Ebay.

                    Very nice find for Massachusetts!

Check your fuel filter, needle valve and rubber fuel lines between the pump and carb before you put a pump in it. Although it may just be the pump too.

Get her running and bring her to Foxboro on the 19th!

I watched Craigslist for 2 years and on 4/28 I saw it so I called the guy up. I took a drive on 4/29 placed a down payment and my buddy trailered it up on 4/30. I found it in Canton Ct. I'm the 4th owner and I beat out a guy from Maine by an Hr. He owned it for 6yrs but stored it away for the last 3 yrs.
