A few weeks ago I stumbled across this logo when I was poking around on the interwebz.
We tracked down the artist (suzq044) and she is willing to sell it so we can have it printed on T-Shirts or hats. Before I pay her (and I am going to), I am hoping to gauge interest in T-Shirts, hats, or stickers. I have no idea how much a T-Shirt or hat would cost but I am not looking to make money on them; I just think this logo is amazing and would love to show off our community.
I am picturing a quality black cotton shirt with this logo printed on the back. Maybe a small version on the front?
I am picturing a black cotton hat with this logo on the front. Maybe a white hat with the front panel and bill being black with the logo?
Please reply with answers to these questions (if you are not comfortable answering here in the open, PM me):
1) Would you buy a shirt(s)? if so, how many, what size(s), and at what cost would it be too much $$ (including shipping) that you would change your mind?
2) Would you buy a hat? If so, at what cost (including shipping) would it be too much and you would change your mind?
3) Do you have a company on an "in" that does this kind of stuff and can help keep cost down (without compromising quality)?
Again, I am not going to make a profit on these but if I find that it's going to cost $25/T-shirt, plus shipping, in my mind, that is too much money for a T-Shirt, regardless of how nice it is and I pull the plug. But if these shirts are $16, plus shipping for a 2XL, I would buy 2 for myself. I'm looking to have these ready in time to be given out for Christmas. I have no idea if that is doable, yet, but that is what I am shooting for.
