I really like that pic up on Gov'nors with your feet in the shot. Gives a good prospective on altitude, distance and steepness.

Now I am wanting to get back and it's a long ways off.
But hey, our wheelin' season is just starting out here.

Ouray... I wish I had gone up on some more trails this summer. The season is quickly getting away. If we have our act together, Krista will probably invade Ouray with the Eagle. Heck, I would like to do it with the J20.

yeah that was on Tuesday when I said "CYA" and went off on my own. Comfortable enough with Sundog up there by now to do so. I spent about 2 hours in that pasture (it's right after you enter the basin on the left) chilling out and enjoying the view, watching people drive up to the lower waterfalls on Yankee Boy.

I took the lower basin out of Govs, that was insane (the scree field you and I found back a few years ago). It's doable in a WT with 12.50s...barely. You cant get out the drivers door at all on the narrow part, and if you get out on the pass side you better be holdin onto the jeep :P

Yeah Ralph! Cya that weekend before Thanksgiving for sure! I'm taking a car down, so will need to ride shotgun or a spare jeep. Got any? :P REALLY looking forward to seeing the wilderness down there.

any one up for moab the week after ouray for 2-3 days can't make two trips its 1350 miles to just ouray
