Aftermarket replacement for a Ford PU. Looks just like OEM. Got it at the local parts store.

x2....I just put one in my waggy....It was a major pita but it works. I had to drill a couple extra holes and had to stand on my head under the dash to fish it through

Another for the Ford family. 90's Exploder type...it has that semi-hard plastic from mid-shaft down to keep it from bending when I "run through the jungle"

A generic powered antenna, the type that sits inside your windshield. Granted, I also have no speakers or even a head unit hooked up.

Still, I don't know how many antennas I wound up replacing when I went offroading with my first jeep, so I am planning for the future this way. Still not sure I can do much about the CB and (eventually) ham radio antennae, but at least the music's safe.

I use a magnet mount for my ham antenna: It gets knocked off a lot but I just go stand it back up and nothing get broken. Another option is to make a spring loaded mount... I have seem people on pirates do that.

any stock antenna wwith the standard type plug would work, but if you are one of those guys who wants to listen to cuba in the middle of the night....buy an am/fm antenna with a coil in the middle.it increases the lenght of the antenna to make it more resonant to am frequencies.you wont be able to tell the difference when you are listening to rush limbaugh in the middle of the day, but if listening to canadian country music stations way up in ontario at 3 am is your thing. thats the type of antenna you want.
