    Cherokee Laredo black > decals???

    i want to know what was the original trim of a Cherokee Laredo, black!!, 1982/1983, specially the decals!
    Google do not bring the results i want

    if you take a look at my build thread, link is in my sig, you can see the decals on my 1981 cherokee laredo, except mine is brown. i'm not sure if there is, or what the differences would be between the decals for different body colors, but it would be a start.

      My black 81 Cherokee Larado had a silver/gray color stripes.

      Not counying XJs'.
      [Did have a 94 & more recently a '97 GC with 5.2. for awhile. Just not the same! Now have the FSJ blues!

          This isn't written in stone but the few(couple anyway) original black painted Loredo's I've seen had gold colored trim decals.

            Decals...?

            I've been looking, asking, requesting for such a set physical in hand decals striping for the Laredo PU since 2002.
            Companies individuals - You can have a dream can't you..? Not to have found any yet. Pictures of them on a rig yes - a scrap here or there.

            Bottom of the food chain

            Silver / Gray or two shades of gray primarily ......

                    in '80 the colours were slightly different but positioning of decals was the same as '81 and '82.

                    In '80 there were two different versions of the stipes, but colours remained the same for both versions.

                    The first version had two seperate stripes with the body paint exposed between each stripe. Version two had a 1 piece decal with 'clear' vinyl between the two stripes and allowing the body colour to show through the clear.

                    The colours were listed as: 1. Silver (which was actually two tone silver and gray)

                    2. Gold/Brown

                    They were the only 2 colour choices for '80 Laredo on both the SJ's and J trucks.
