HELP !! REAR WINDOW RETAINING CLIPS

MY REAR WINDOW FELL OFF THE RETRACTORS TODAY.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE GIZMO IS CALLED THAT ATTACHES TO THE STUD ON THE ARM , THAT BRINGS THE BACK WINDOW UP AND DOWN???
(THE STUD GOES TROUGH THE GLASS BOTTOM AND HAS A NOTCH AROUND IT FOR A CLIP OR WASHER THAT HOLDS THE STUD TO THE WINDOW).
WHAT IS IT CALLED OR DOES ANYBODY HAVE A SOURCE OR PART NUMBER?????
    THANX IN ADVANCE.nullnull

    Squirel-
these are a standard type part, you should be able to find them at any good parts place-
first try pep boys or the like, they have a section that stocks misc repair items like door knobs and springs etc, usually the brand name is "help" the newer style clips (GM sourced maybe?)look like a washer with a lip on the outer edge, and the center hole is oblong, with a tab that folds out and over the hole. it slips on the post off center, then slides in and 'locks' into place. i think the were commonly used on 80's GM power windows.
second choice is to find a body shop that you know and trust. try o desribe what i just described and what they are for. if they have a good stock of small trim and retaining clips and parts (and have been in business for a while)they should have it. my father ran a shop and had them in stock, and when they closed i grabbed a bunch of them if i ever needed them.
also, look deep into the crevess in the bottom of teh tailgate w/ a flashlight and you may be able to find one that fell down there and use it as a sample. be aware that they changed deisgns on the clip, but both newer (described above) and older clips will work. just be sure to grease everything when you put it together and try to align the oblong hole vertically on the post so that it won't try to slide off as the window moves.
    hope this helps!

here's a trick I use to put them things back on. pile up some between the outer skin and the arm, I used a couple of paperbacks and some playing cards. This keeps the arm tight against the window track when you pry. I then use a long screw driver to pry the clips back on.
Ps I bought my clips at a DamCry-jeep dealer.
        Good luck, Dean.

Wow! Talk about inflation! I bought my clips about 4 months ago for $2.15!

You DID get a bunch of extra ones right? It's the same clips for the power windows in the doors too!
Hrm... my old sig is broken.. new to follow soon.
