Is it a AMC JEEP or a true Rambler as the bolt pattern is not the same.

It's been done. BA_051 had one behind his AMC 406 stroker. I actually have all of his old conversion parts (Advanced Adapters bell housing, Jeep 4.0 flywheel match balanced to a 360, 4.0 starter, Centerforce clutch, conversion pilot bushing, ect.). Conversion to hydroboost is recommended to clear the hydraulic clutch master cylinder.
