Well the wife and I just took a job with a construction company that does a lot of work for the U.S. Armed Forces. We will be moving every 12-24 months for a few years and our first assignment is Lawton, Oklahoma! We will be working on a project taking place at Ft. Sill. Looking to hook up with some other Jeepers down there to get to know the trails in the area. Anyone live close by?
Paging any Oklahoma FSJ'ers

I'm up in tulsa at about 2.5 hours north east. there are a couple of locations for wheeling. Clayton over in southeast oklahoma (an no easy way to get there from lawton), and disney (grand lake) up in north eastern oklahoma about an hour from tulsa. you can head north and a bit west to little sahara for some sand fun.
there are people that hit the river bottoms down in that area. I did hear of a new offroad park opening up west of lawton.
what company are you working for? My arch firm does lots of DOD work at ft sill, altus afb, tinker afb, etc.

I am in Ardmore it is east about an hour and a half of Lawton. If you are looking for a good place to wheel you need to check out the northwest ohv park in Bridgeport, Tx http://www.cityofbridgeport.net/index.aspx?nid=32280 cj 5

Sorry to say that my hot rodder blood got the best of me when we moved down here and I have since sold the Wagoneer to a fellow IFSJA board member to fund another project. I already regret selling that thing!!
Thanks for all the replies fellas! I will dive back into the FSJ world soon!Currently FSJ-less. For the second time...........
