I live in an unincorporated area of San Bernardino County, far from the Apple Valley, CA town limits...I do not live in any city or town, so unfortunately (and fortunately) those ordinances don't apply to me. Those of us living out here are OUT of the sphere of influence of Apple Valley, CA and we want to KEEP it that way, the less government, the better IMHO...and in the opinions of most county residents in this area. Also review "Item 9" of Exhibit A under Amnesty Issues... in the below link... referenced as the Golden Triangle Amnesty Program
The above seems to set a precedent for you. We DON'T do those things out here.

Annie- you could have just dug the trench a little deeper to deal with the scoundrel, then parked the rig on top as a headstone. The rest of the neighbors would either applaud or get the not-so-subtle message
