will the axles out of a 1976 jeep cherokee fit in my jeep i only need the rear axle or just the diff. but is it a straight bolt up?

Phillip, It should be a straight swap. Just look everything over well. Do you know what axle ratios you have? That would be the deciding factor on whether or not you swap both. You don't want to mix and match, it will throw you into the ditch when on ice...

Well, the axles should have a metal tag bolted onto a couple of the covers' bolts. That tag should have either a designation like 3:73 or 3:54(which is what you probably have) or they will just have a set of #'s like 43 11. If it has this designation then you would divide 43 by 11 giving you a 3.90 ratio. Odds are that if you took the axles off of a quadratrack vehicle, they will have the same as another Qtrack vehicle but you need to be sure.
