    Silver Jeep Decal Location

Where does the silver made in Toledo decal go ? 1i bought one from Team Wagoneer for my detailing but I'm not sure where it's supposed to be. .

mine was gone when I bought the rig.

        Very interesting!

TGW site reads: "These Decals Were Available Only At The Manufacturing Plant & Although It Was Assigned A Part Number-Was Never Made For Retail Sale".

I'm thinking this is the reason your not getting confirmation on where it goes.

Therefore, I'd find a spot that seems appropriate. Like inside the driver's side door-jam?

I think what they mean is the stickers were never offered for sale. but they were installed at the factory. these are NOS factory leftovers.

I've found discussions on the internet saying people had them on their original vehicles, even on some CJ's but nobody says where they were located.

I remember it on my Dad's 1978 Wagoneer he bought new, I remember the silver and reading it but I can't for the life of me remember where it was at.

I had one of those(or similar?) stickers on a72 J-4500. It was high up on the firewall but don't remember if it was pass or drive side. Not saying it was factory original but suspect so. It was intact but pretty funky till I found it and cleaned it.
