But its been a loooong while since I posted much here.
I bought my first FSJ in 1998 after a car accident broke my neck. I wanted some solid steel around me after that and my Dad had always loved funky old wagoneers and cherokees so I bought a 79 Wagoneer. It was shortly thereafter that I joined the old Majordomo listserv. In fact I met my husband there - and yes, I do let him drive my jeep - in fact my 77 Wag, Phoebe, was a wedding present from him to me in 2000. I followed the listservs and groups for years and finally joined up here after the first Ouray Invasion. I was actively engaged with IFSJA until I rolled Phoebe in AZ in Nov of 2010. IFSJA was the greatest gift during that time - providing support and parts and friends and and a sense of belonging to a community that would support each other no matter what. With the support of many in the IFSJA community and the Tucson full size jeepers, Phoebe was rebuilt and I drove her home to Colorado in May of 2012. We couldn't have done it without you all. But since the roll over I've drifted away from the forum. It seems that life takes a different perspective after an event of that nature and your priorities change.
Bone stock (except for the big feet) in 2000 with about 60K original miles.
At Mexican Hat in UT 2009.
After the roll over.
