    Alternator bracket spacer?

I replaced my 1965 Motorola with a Delco alternator which the shop put on an original matching case so that no grinding is necessary. My problem is that have this ~.25" thick spacer that I don't remember where it goes! So could someone give me a description or good picture of how the lower alternator bracket mounts up?? At the moment the bracket arm is mounted on the back side of the alternator... is this right? That's the way I found it. And then where the bracket mounts to the engine block... from the block out I have 1.block 2.alternator bracket arm 3.PS idler pulley adjustment bracket 4.bolt. I know that spacer is supposed to go in there somewhere. And yes the pulley route is off, but any other way I tried it was even further off. Thanks.
