Truck Won't Start

So, it is 2 degrees here in Denver and I went out to use my J10 this morning. It cranked over, albet a little slower than usual, and would not start. I figured it was my battery that was having troubles so I tried to jump it with another car and it continued to do the same thing. Then it just stopped cranking all together. The whole while, my interior lights and the radio worked properly. Alternator, right? Or could it possibly be something else? Any help would be appreciated, my other car only sits and spins in the snow. Thanks

Not gonna help til it warms up now but, block heaters are a good thing to have when you live in the Rocky Mtn states. Have you looked to see if the choke is working? Maybe the spring broke in this cold?

what kind of oil are you using... weight and viscosity are important in the colder weather too... it becomes sticky... most manufacturers recommend that you switch to a lighter weight oil during colder winter months to minimize the hard starts with thick oil...
