Diesel Isuzu, cummins, chevy, ford .... options opinions

Ive read many threads about switching to Diesel power, 6.2, 6.5, cummins etc and would like some opinions about the best switch. I know the 4bta is a great engine, and it would be my first choice, but also understand the Isuzu makes a great engine compatable with US drive trains.

Between the 4bta and Isuzu, can anyone give me the pros and cons? thanks
Bill
