Electric fuel pump q's (lines, filters, pump, mounting etc.)

Greetings fellow jeepers,

I had some questions for those of you who installed electric fuel pumps. Could any of you post photos if you have them. First I have an idea, I want to install an inline filter before the electric pump (The pump is external and will be mounted on the frame rail) and I want a filter after the electric pump. Do you think this is overkill? secondly what filters out there are supposed to be top notch? I want something that is really highly regarded and not just going on its name. lastly how did you all route the fuel lines? did you run them up into the engine bay and across to the engine carb and or tbi? or did you actually run them up and over the top of the transmission? (Wouldnt this create heat issues from the trans heating the lines up?) Where did you all mount your pumps etc? Alright fellow jeepers, any help will be appreciated so let the posting begin!!!

P.S. how did you hook the lines into the pump? did you simply use rubber hoses connected to the fuel line? or did you use braided hose? and the same thing for the connection to the TBI or carb. Or did you flare the ends of the hard line and connect directly to the TBI and the fuel pump?
