Noice...I could buy that, sell the rims in Carpentersville (see: Little Mexico), make bank off of them and use the cash to buy a lift and tires and use my 5 slots off the wag, then sell the wag or part it out!...but I have to find 3 grand first...

Check the greatlakes link. I think he set the reserve at $ 8500 . The thread is funny. The poster doesn' t see the problem with the rims like the others notices.

Save those rims for the Escalades.

And I've never heard of a stock rebuild costing that much.

If there was one trend that I wish would disappear in the automotive world it would be the big Great Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley Moogley wheel thing. I love seeing people driving a car that is worth $500 and spent $5000 on 24" spinning wheels. Good job on knowing where to spend your money (not really). What ever it will pass some day I hope.

I think that he is talking about Canadian Dollars, which converts to MUCH less in US dollars. He needs to specify too, if he is wanting 8500 CA or 8500 USD! All in all, I think it is an ugly truck. HATE the wheels, don't like the vinyl stripe, the blue on blue is not quite my preference, and you can tell that he 1/2 Great Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley Moogleyed everything. Nobody would brag about replacing floor pans and repairing the frame, AND repainting the top, and then leaving the rust bubbles for the next guy. That just doesn't make sense!

Every time I see an FSJ like this, I die a little inside. lol Every time I see some pos with giant rims though I laugh. I wouldn't mind a set of rims on our Honda, but they'd only be 15" or 16" and not some overly extravagant design, none of this crap with being taller than the stock tires and more intricate and glittery than a diamond ring. I'll put 17" 'bullit' rims on my Mustang, but anything larger than 18" belongs on an industrial vehicle like a semi or a tractor, not a passenger car.

That looks like my jeep sort of. Same color but my decals look a bit different. I am going to put 22s on mine now.

Not a subtle hint. It's been in my signature for about 6 months now, and was in the latest issues of......well.......you know.......that booklet of pages that you don't like

I have one rig on 15" rims and 35" M/T Baja Claw Radials, and the other rig is on 22" rims with low-pro tires.
